North of Munich City Center an office building complex designed by Architect Falk von Tettenborn is being built by the property developer Hubert Haupt. The first phase was completed last year and the qualification process by the US Green Building Council has just been finalized. The result: a record score!
The office building receives the US Green Building Council LEED Platinum Award with the world´s highest score to date. Bavarian minister of interior affairs Joachim Herrmann presented the award.
Minister Joachim Herrmann:
"In cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute you have developed an energy concept that exceeds the energy goals of the German Government. With the best score worldwide within the framework of the LEED qualification you have set a standard which will be a benchmark to others in the building industry."
